My bachelor's diploma project at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (2022).
Thesis advisor: prof. Grzegorz Niwinski
A wooden toy for children aged 7-10. The clue of the project is building a house in groups using a simple wedge connection with hammers. The form encourages cooperation between children. The toy includes: wooden elements of the house frame (boards and square timber), wedges, hammers, roof, fabric walls and tool belts. The design can be extended with a trolley and a two-step ladder.
The project was recognised by the make me! competition during the Lodz Design Festival 2023.
I was able to test my project with a group of local children - we played for about ah hour and they build the little house by themselves - using instruction manual.
